Online Giving

Forget to bring your checkbook to church? Don't carry a checkbook? No problem.

We have teamed up with tithe.ly to offer online giving. You can do a one time gift or set up automatic giving for the amount and frequency of your choice. You can use a credit/debit card or your checking account. You can even choose to pay the processing fee so the full amount of your offering goes to the congregation. Simply click on the appropriate button to get started.

Longest Night

Cries of ‘Merry Christmas!’ and the sound of Christmas songs filling the air don’t always match up with the feelings of many people at this time of year. For those suffering from the recent or impending death of loved ones, dealing with the pain of separation or divorce, struggling to find employment, or facing depression, addiction or family crisis, this can be a very isolated and dark time. Every greeting and every song reminds the grief-stricken of how unhappy life is at this moment.  We recognize that a lot of the Christmas celebrations do not meet everyone’s needs.

The people of the Northern Lights Lutheran Parish invite you to a special holiday service designed for those for whom the holidays might be difficult. If you have undergone a difficult loss, transition, or life change, the church cares about you and invites you to a special time of music and worship.

Join us for our ‘Longest Night’ Service at First Lutheran Church of Winona at 7:00 PM on Friday, the 20th of December as we walk with those who are truly experiencing their longest night.
